Program
Volunteers
are a much needed and relied upon resource within Kimochi’s
Programs & Services and Fundraisers. It is with the assistance
of volunteers that Kimochi is successful in providing a continuum
of care for seniors.
There are many areas in which you can volunteer.

Nutrition
Congregate Meals: On-site assistance in serving
meals, bussing and resetting of dining room.
Home delivered Meals: Walk or drive to
deliver meals to home-bound seniors or assist the Home Delivered
Meal Driver. |

Home
Escorts: Escort our seniors on daily walks,
or on an outing
Receptionist: Answer phones and greet
our seniors and guests.
Activities: Assist seniors in group activities
from Bingo to Arts& Crafts
Projects: Available on case by case basis
from handyman (fix and repair) jobs, to gardening (planting,
weeding, pruning), to office assistance (receptionist, clerical,
etc.). |
